Why would God give Himself a name with hovah in it, is the ultimate question. Even though it can be argued technically, it still doesn’t answer the question “why would God give Himself a name with hovah in it?”. Proponents of Yehovah say “that’s not how Hebrew works”. All Hebrew names in the Bible have meaning and it is indeed how Hebrew names work. That is the point and that is what proponents of Yehovah will not reason upon.
The proponents of Yehovah can argue all day about the name they use and spout Hebrew all day long. But the fact remains. hovah means ruin or mischief and God would not create Himself a Name with hovah in it. The Name of Our Father in Heaven cannot and does not contain a negative element in it.
