  1. The Bible says that there is “only one God”

Deuteronomy 6:4

4 Hear Israel, Y’hayah our God. Y’hayah is one.

Isaiah 45:21,22

21 Make your report, present your case.

Let them consult together in unity.

Who foretold this long ago

And declared it from times past?

Is it not I, Y’hayah?

There is no other God but me;

A righteous God and a Savior, there is none besides me.

22 Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth,

For I am God, and there is no one else.

  1. The Bible says that God is not “man” or a “son of man”

Numbers 23:19

19 God is not a mere man who tells lies,

Nor a son of man who changes his mind.

When he says something, will he not do it?

When he speaks, will he not carry it out?

Hosea 11:9

9 I will not vent my burning anger.

I will not destroy Eʹphra·im again,

For I am God and not man,

The Holy One in your midst;

And I will not come against you in fury.

  1. Nobody has literally seen God

John 1:18

18 No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is at the Father’s side is the one who has explained Him.

John 14:28

28 You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I am.

John 10:29 What my Father has given me is something greater than all other things, and no one can snatch them out of the hand of the Father. 30 I and the Father are one.”

Matthew 24:36

36 “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.

1 Corinthians 11:3

3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn, the head of a woman is the man; in turn, the head of the Christ is God.

John 5:30

Hebrews 2:9

9 But we do see Y’sho, who was made a little lower than angels, now crowned with glory and honor for having suffered death, so that by God’s undeserved kindness he might taste death for everyone.

2 John 1:3

3 There will be with us undeserved kindness, mercy, and peace from God the Father and from Y’sho The Messiah, the Son of the Father, with truth and love.

  1. The Creator of the Universe has given Y’sho everything, including life.

John 5:26,27

26 For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because he is the Son of man.

1 Corinthians 15:28

28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.

John 7:16

16 Y’sho, in turn, answered them and said: “What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him who sent me.

John 5:30

Hebrews 1:1-4

Acts 2:22

22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Y’sho the Naz·a·reneʹ was a man publicly shown to you by God through powerful works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.

Acts 17:31

31 Because he has set a day on which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has provided a guarantee to all men by resurrecting him from the dead.”

Matthew 12:40

40 For just as Joʹnah was in the belly of the huge fish for three days and three nights, so the Son of man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

  1. Y’sho denied He is God

Matthew 19:17, Mark 10:18

17 He said to him: “Why do you ask me about what is good? One there is who is good. If, though, you want to enter into life, observe the commandments continually.”

18 Y’sho said to him: “Why do you call me good? Nobody is good except one, God.

Luke 18:19

19 Y’sho said to him: “Why do you call me good? Nobody is good except one, God.

John 20:17

17 Y’sho said to her: “Stop clinging to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.’”

John 17:3

3 This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Y’sho The Messiah.

Matthew 27:46

46 About the ninth hour, Y’sho called out with a loud voice, saying: “Eʹli, Eʹli, laʹma sa·bach·thaʹni?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

  1. Y’sho worshipped the only true God

John 17:3

3 This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Y’sho The Messiah.

Luke 6:12

12 On one of those days he went out to the mountain to pray, and he spent the whole night in prayer to God.

Matthew 20:28

28 Just as the Son of man came, not to be ministered to, but to minister and to give his life as a ransom in exchange for many.”

Matthew 26:39

39 And going a little way forward, he fell facedown, praying: “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me. Yet, not as I will, but as you will.”

Hebrews 5:7

7 During his life on earth, Christ offered up supplications and also petitions, with strong outcries and tears, to the One who was able to save him out of death, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear.

  1. Y’sho never instructed his disciples to worship him

Luke 11:2

2 So he said to them: “Whenever you pray, say: ‘Father, let your name be sanctified. Let your Kingdom come.

23 In that day you will ask me no question at all. Most truly I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything, he will give it to you in my name.

  1. Disciples did not believe Y’sho was God

Acts 2:22

26 God, after raising up his Servant, sent him to you first to bless you by turning each one of you away from your wicked deeds.”

Acts 5:29,30

29 In answer Peter and the other apostles said: “We must obey God as ruler rather than men. 30 The God of our forefathers raised up Y’sho, whom you killed, hanging him on a cross.

Acts 4:24

24 On hearing this, they raised their voices with one accord to God and said:

“Y’hayah, you are the One who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the things in them,

Acts 4:27

27 For truly both Herod and Pontius Pilate with men of the nations and with peoples of Israel were gathered together in this city against your holy servant Y’sho, whom you anointed,

6 there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Y’sho The Messiah, through whom all things are and we through him.

3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn, the head of a woman is the man; in turn, the head of the Christ is God.

  1. Even when Stephen died he never worshiped Y’sho, but God

Act 7:55-60

55 But he, being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Y’sho standing at God’s right hand, 56 and he said: “Look! I see the heavens opened up and the Son of man standing at God’s right hand.” 57 At this they cried out at the top of their voices and put their hands over their ears and rushed at him all together. 58 After throwing him outside the city, they began stoning him. The witnesses laid down their outer garments at the feet of a young man called Saul. 59 As they were stoning Stephen, he made this appeal: “Lord Y’sho, receive my spirit.” 60 Then, kneeling down, he cried out with a strong voice: “Y’hayah, do not charge this sin against them.” And after saying this, he fell asleep in death.

1 Timothy 2:5

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Y’sho,

  1. Y’sho even recognized that he was the “beginning of Creation”

Revelation 3:14

14 “To the angel of the congregation in La·o·di·ceʹa write: These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God:
