The Sacred Name

The Sacred Name

In all the Semitic languages Yohdh is always a /j/ pronounced /y/. It is a palatal approximant or /y/ sound.

The j sound in English is an example of a palatal consonant, while the y sound in English (akin to the j sound in many other languages) is an example of a palatal approximant. In the former case (palatal consonant), the tongue is raised and flattened to touch the palate while in the latter case (palatal approximant) it does not touch the palate completely, allowing air to flow between the palate and the tongue.

While the modern Latin script has the letter j, Latin itself did not use j to start with and did not have a well-defined palatal consonant sound. Words like Iapheth, Iesus, Ieremiah, etc. were meant to be pronounced starting with a palatal approximant. In due course, due to natural phonological evolution, they began to be pronounced with a palatal consonant in certain Roman colonies. This gave rise to the need for distinction between the two sounds in writing. The letter j, which was really special cursive form of i became the symbol for this distinct new sound.

The Hebrew letter vav

Most scholars agree that the ancient pronunciation of the letter was more like a “W” and less like the “V” that it currently represents in the Modern Hebrew language.

Thank you to:

yohdh represented by a /j/ but pronounced as a /y/ because it is a palatal approxmimant in language (not generally known)

The Rise, Decline and Fall of the Roman Religion will be an attempt to wipe out religion and the names of Ya and Y’shu and stop anyone else from being saved.

Latinization of the Pronunciation of God’s name.

You are probably wondering about the “J” in the name Jehovah . Well, William Tyndale said that it is Iehovah in Latin.

In Latin, the letter J is a modern typographical convention for the consonant form of I. The letter I in ancient times represented either a vowel or a consonant.

Thank you to:

Sometimes one will see a “j” in Latin. Technically Latin has no letter J. It was introduced in the 13th century or thereabouts to differentiate between the vowel i and the consonant i. The consonantal i is like our y. “Major” in Latin is pronounced as MAH-yor. Until this last century, most printed Latin texts used the j to indicate the different sounds. Today the j’s are usually replaced with the more classical i’s.

The Hebrew letter vav

Most scholars agree that the ancient pronunciation of the letter was more like a “W” and less like the “V” that it currently represents in the Modern Hebrew language.

Thank you to:

Get this: Today, translators would have said Iehovah not Jehovah and pronounced it Yehovah. How spiffy.

Mind bender from Google: If you are reading Latin as it was originally spelled, the letter i is sometimes this consonant “y,” and sometimes a vowel. For example, the name Iulius or “Julius” is pronounced “Yoo-lee-us.”

The Obfuscating of God’s Name

The cause of the confusion with the pronunciation of God’s name. The “w” in the name Yehowah was changed to a “v” via modern Hebrew and the ancient Latin “i” was changed typographically to a “j” and then back to an “i”.

How confusing for people to see Jehovah(YHWH)!

The Most Holy Name of God is Jahwah

According to the Masoretic Text and the JPS 1917 Edition and the Holy Aramaic and Greek Scriptures

ג  וָאֵרָא, אֶל-אַבְרָהָם אֶל-יִצְחָק וְאֶל-יַעֲקֹב–בְּאֵל שַׁדָּי; וּשְׁמִי יָהוָה , לֹא נוֹדַעְתִּי לָהֶם. 3 and I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name JHWH I did not make myself known to them.

As per usual the Jews forgot the ancient name of God because of their superstition of not pronouncing it. Thank God for the Aramaic Text that supports the Greek Text in positioning the second letter of the name as an “a”. On the other hand at least the Masoretes got the “hwah” right. It’s a mixed bag.

Hebrew יָהוָה Jahwah pronounced Yahwah

Hebrew Jah – theophoric reference pronounced Yah

Aramaic ܕܡܪܝܐ MarJa – pronounced MarYa – the Lord Ya

Greek λληλουιά – Alleluia – Praise Ya

Exodus 15:2 יָהּ Jah pronounced Yah

I am Shalijah, pronounced Shaliyah

I am a messenger of the Most High God.

The final words of ShaliYah

Dear Ones, thank you for your faith.

You are with God and His Christ and all the Holy Ones. Satana thought he would mislead you all and destroy you, but look! God is with you like a Mighty One and all who love His Son shall be delivered from Satana, the fallen one.

May the blessing of Ya overtake you and you shall deliver the Church. Satana thought I would do it so he fought me but I am not even slightly concerned about what will now take place. The gathering of those who love God and His Son and who appreciate His Sacrifice, God is calling you “my people” at Revelation 18:4.  Do not be afraid of Satana, he is less than nothing in comparison to Our God, and Our God will deliver every one by your hand. Because of your faith and your love and hoping in the Holy One of God, you will not be disappointed. Tell everyone who will listen, God is Love and Mercy and is infinite in power. Nothing will ever disturb the people belonging to God again. Our deliverance is at hand. Do not look around, your faith will save a Great Multitude Revelation 7:9. Our Lord is coming and His reward is with Him. Make a straight path for God and His Christ. And pray with me.

Merciful Father in the Heavens Ya, hallowed be Your Name, may Your Kingdom come, may Your will be done, as so in the Heavens, also in the Earth. Give unto us the bread of our need today, And forgive us our debt, as we have forgiven all who are indebted to us. And do not let us enter into testing, but rather, deliver us from evil, because Yours is The Kingdom, and The Power, and The Glory, never ending, eternal’

In the name of Y’shu

That people may know that you, whose name is Yahwah, Ya the Living One, you alone are Most High over All the Earth. We are your people and we love you. Multiply the people with us and magnify your Great Name above the Heavens and bring glory to Yourself along with Your Son.

Thank you for honouring us this way O God.

So proud of you Meshikhi,

With love,

We Thank You O Yahwah

When we read the Bible, God’s voice is that of a kind, loving Father.

(1 Thessalonians 5:18)

1. We thank you, O Yahwah, each day and each night, That you shed upon us your precious light.

We thank you that we have the priv’lege of prayer, That we can approach you with ev’ry care.

2. We thank you, O Yahwah, for your loving Son, Who conquered the world; by his faith he won.

We thank you for guidance in doing your will.

You lovingly help us our vows fulfill.

3. We thank you, our God, for the honor to preach About your great name and the truth to teach.

We thank you that soon all earth’s woes will be past, While your Kingdom blessings forever last.

(See also Ps. 50:14; 95:2; 147:7; Col. 3:15.)

We are thankful to have a God who is infinite in Love, infinite in Wisdom, infinite in Justice and infinite in Power. So much so that we need nothing but what comes from Him. Anything in contradiction to that statement is a Satanic lie, against the truth of God. But you must not have and you must not bow down to, any other God but Ya, not even to Y’shu who is the Son of God, or you forfeit this blessing and have to settle for half truths, half miracles, half justice and no mercy, because you end up in the hands of Satan. Honor the Son as you honor the Father, only do not bow down to the Son or pray to Him (John 5:23, Matthew 4:10, Matthew 6:9). This is how you remove Satan from your life and throw him down and live the full life God wants for you. Your Father is only wanting to give you whatever you need and in the future, everlasting life in perfection. Do not believe anything else. And He will love you forever and that is the end of Satan’s influence over this world and that is the sign you have been seeking from God.  Because I am bringing you the name of God, Yahwah, Ya the Living One and the name of the Son of God, Y’shu Meshikha, Y’shu the Anointed One.  Stop being beggers in the wealthiest Kingdom of all time, the Kingdom of God in the Hands of His Christ, Y’shu.  Do not be afraid anymore.

Do not be afraid of anything.
