TO TITUS 1
1 Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Ihsou Christ, according to the faith of God's elect and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness, 2 in hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the ages began, 3 but in due time manifested his word in preaching, which I was entrusted with by the commandment of God our Savior, 4 to Titus, my true child in a common faith: grace, mercy, peace from God the Father and the Lord Ihsou Christ our Savior. 5 For this reason I left you in Crete, that you may put in order the things that are lacking, and may appoint elders in every city, as I directed you. 6 If any man be undefiled, the husband of one wife, having children that believe, not accused of debauchery or unruly. 7 For the bishop must be undefiled, as God's steward; not self-willed, not arrogant, not quarrelsome, not given to greed, 8 but hospitable, a lover of goodness, sober-minded, just, holy, temperate, 9 holding fast to the faithful word as taught, that he may be able both to exhort in sound doctrine, and to correct those who contradict. 10 For there are many of you who are disobedient and unruly, talkers of empty talk and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, 11 whom he sees as pedantic, who subvert whole households, teaching things they do not see, for the sake of filthy lucre. 12 Of whom their own prophet said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, slow-moving stomachs.” 13 This testimony is true. For this reason he rebuked them sharply, so that they might be sound in the faith, 14 not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn away from the truth. 15 To the pure all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but both their mind and conscience are defiled. 16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny him, being abominable and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

TO TITUS 2
1 But you speak the things which become sound doctrine. 2 The elders must be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience. 3 The elders likewise must be worthy of the office of priest, not slanderers, not given to much wine, able to teach well, 4 that they may correct the younger women, to be lovers of their husbands, loving their children, 5 serious, chaste, of good character, subject to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. 6 The younger men likewise must be admonished. 7 In everything, showing yourself a pattern of good works, in your teaching, undefiled, sober, incorruptible, 8 sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that anyone who opposes you may be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about you. 9 Servants, obey your masters in everything, pleasing them, not arguing, 10 not quarreling, but showing all good works, so that they may adorn the teaching of God our Savior in everything. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Training us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the appearing of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Ihsou Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 Speak these things, and exhort, and rebuke with all exhortation. Let no man despise thee.

TO TITUS 3
1 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, 2 to slander no one, to be gentle, to be considerate, showing all courtesy to all men. 3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, brutal, hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Ihsou Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by that grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 The saying is trustworthy, and concerning these things I want you to be assured, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to maintain good works. These are good and profitable things for men. 9 But do not inquire about genealogies and genealogies and quarrels about laws, for you are useless and worthless. 10 A heretic after admonition once and twice reject him, 11 seeing that such a one is perverse and sins, being self-condemned. 12 When I send Artemas to you or Tychicus, be diligent to come to me at Nicopolis; for I have sent Zenas the lawyer and Apollos before me, that nothing may be lacking to them. 14 And let us also be diligent in good works, to minister to necessary needs, that we be not unfruitful. 15 All who are with me greet you. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
