23.2 And thou shalt put the Shekinah in thy bosom, if thou hast a soul.

23.3 Do not be deceived by his words, for he is a bread of lies.

23.4 Do not be concerned with making yourself rich, for your wisdom is not enough.

23.5 Your eyes will fly over him, and he is not. He who makes him will make him wings like an eagle and fly with the sky.

23.6 Do not eat the bread of evil, nor desire its delicacies.

23.7 For as a door is in his soul, so he eats and drinks, and his heart says to you, "It is not with you."

23.8 You have eaten your vomit, and your pleasant words have become sour.

23.9 Speak not in the ears of a fool. for he will despise thy understanding.

23.10 Do not remove the boundary of the world, and do not enter the breasts of orphans.

23.11 For their ransom is strong, he will contend with their cause against you.

23.12 Apply your heart to discipline and your ear to the words of knowledge.

23.13 Do not withhold discipline from a young man, for your inheritance in the tribe will not die.

23.14 You are in the tribe of your fathers, and you will deliver his soul from Saul.

23.15 My son, if your heart is wise, my heart will rejoice, and I also will rejoice.

23.16 And my kidneys rejoice at the word of thy righteous lips.

23.17 Let not thine heart envy sins, but fear YHVH all the day long.

23.18 For if there is an end, and your hope will not be cut off,

23.19 Hear, my son, and be wise, and walk in the ways of your heart.

23.20 Do not be among those who drink wine, among those who eat meat.

23.21 For a grandfather devours an heir, and tears clothe a woman with tears.

23.22 Hearken unto thy father, he is thy son, and despise not thy mother because she is old.

23.23 Buy truth and do not sell it; wisdom, morality, and understanding.

23.24 The father of a righteous man will beget a wise man, and he will rejoice in him.

23.25 Your father and mother will rejoice, and she who bore you will be glad.

23.26 My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.

23.27 For a prostitute is a deep pit, and a strange woman is a narrow well.

23.28 She also lies in wait like a traitor, and treacherous men are added to a man.

23.29 Woe to whom, woe to whom, judgments to whom, tribulation to whom, wounds without cause to whom, eye-splitting.

23.30 For those who are late for wine, for those who come to explore the screen

23.31 Do not be afraid of wine, for it will make a man wise, if he puts it in his pocket, he will walk uprightly.

23.32 His end will be like a serpent, like a hawk he will fly away.

23.33 Your eyes will see strange things, and your heart will speak perverse things.

23.34 And you will be like someone lying in the heart of the sea, like someone lying on a rope.

23.35 I'm not sick, I'm sick, I don't know when I'll get better, I'll ask for more.

24.1 Do not envy evil people or desire to be with them.

24.2 For a devil will speak in their heart, and their lips will speak in their own conceit.

24.3 By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is prepared.

24.4 And by knowledge they shall fill the chambers with all precious and pleasant riches.

24.5 A wise man is strong, and a man of understanding exerts strength.

24.6 For by cunning you shall make war, and through great counsel you shall be saved.

24.7 Ramoth-gilead is wise in the gate, but he will not open his mouth.

24.8 He who devises evil shall be called a man of deceit.

24.9 The plotting of a wicked woman is a sin and an abomination to a wicked man.

24.10 Relief in the day of trouble is like waiting.

24.11 The shadow teaches lessons to die and inclines to kill if it gets dark.

24.12 If you say, "We did not know this," do not you think that he will understand and preserve your soul? He knows and will repay a man according to his work.

24.13 Eat honey, my son, for it is good, and a sweet fragrance to the palate.

24.14 So is wisdom for your soul, if you have found it, and there is an end, and your hope will not be cut off.

24.15 Let not the wicked lie in wait for the righteous, nor rob his dwelling.

24.16 For the righteous shall fall seven times, and rise again. but the wicked shall stumble in evil.

24.17 Do not rejoice when your enemies fall, and do not let your heart be glad when they stumble.

24.18 Lest YHVH see it, and it displease him, and turn his wrath away from him.

24.19 Do not be envious of evildoers, do not be envious of the wicked.

24.20 For there shall be no end to evil. the candle of the wicked shall be extinguished.

24.21 Fear YHVH, my son, and do not mix with the king of a mixed people.

24.22 For suddenly there will arise a fire and a pestilence, who knows?

24.23 These also are for the wise, to show favoritism in judgment without good.

24.24 He said to the wicked, "You are righteous. The peoples will burn him, the nations will rage against him."

24.25 And to those who rebuke, it will be pleasant, and a blessing of good will come upon them.

24.26 Isaac's lips answer the present words.

24.27 Prepare your work outside, and prepare it in the field; then go and build your house.

24.28 Do not be a witness to your neighbor without cause, nor deceive with your lips.

24.29 Do not say, "I will do to him as he did to me." I will repay a man according to his work.

24.30 I passed by the field of a sluggard, and by the vineyard of a man void of heart.

24.31 And behold, it was all covered with thorns, its face was covered with thorns, and its stone wall was broken down.

24.32 And I will take hold of it, I will set my heart upon it, I have seen, I have taken instruction.

24.33 A few years, a few naps, a few hugs to lie down

24.34 And he will come and walk around you, your strength and your weakness, like a man of protection.

25.1 These are also proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out.

25.2 The honor of Alhym is to hide a matter, but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.

25.3 The heavens are high, and the earth is low; yet the heart of kings is unsearchable.

25.4 He made silver dross and went out to make vessels.

25.5 A wicked man is set before a king, and his throne is established in righteousness.

25.6 Do not boast before the king, nor stand in the place of great men.

25.7 For it is well said to you, Come up from your lowly position before the Benefactor, whom your eyes have seen.

25.8 Do not go out to the rabbi in haste, lest at the end you do what your neighbor has done to you.

25.9 Fight your battles with your neighbor, and do not reveal another's secret.

25.10 Lest your mercy hear, and your complaint be not returned.

25.11 Apples of gold in settings of silver, talk talk on his lips.

25.12 A golden ring and a blemish prove a wise man to hear.

25.13 Like the frost of snow in the day of harvest, the faithful reaper is faithful to his reapers, and he will restore the soul of his master.

25.14 Princes and wind and rain, no one boasts of a false gift.

25.15 A long nose will seduce a prince, and a smooth tongue will break a yoke.

25.16 You found honey, eat it, lest you be full and vomit it.

25.17 Withdraw your foot from your neighbor's house, lest he be filled with you and hate you.

25.20 A garment that is torn in the day of cold is leaven on the lees, and a song of meat on a wicked heart.

25.21 If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.

25.22 For you will heap coals of fire on his head, and YHVH will reward you.
