JUDE 1 1 Jude, a servant of Ihsou Christ, and brother of James, to those sanctified in God the Father, and called to be in Christ Ihsou: 2 Mercy and peace to you, and love be multiplied. 3 Beloved, while I was very diligent in writing to you concerning the common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you, exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For some men have crept in, who were before ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Ihsou Christ. 5 Now I will put you in remembrance, having once known this, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And angels, which kept not their own rule, but cast off their own habitation, he hath reserved in chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, in like manner giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the punishment of everlasting fire. 8 In the same way also these, having dreamed, defile the flesh, and do not honor the Lord, and blaspheme His glory. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. 10 But these blaspheme those who do not know me; but those who are naturally like wild animals are destroyed by them. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and have run greedily after the error of Balaam for wages, and have perished in the gainsaying of Korah. 12 These are caves in your love, dwelling among you, fearlessly shepherding themselves; waterless clouds, carried about by winds; autumn trees, fruitless, twice dead, uprooted; 13 wild waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars, to whom the gloom of darkness is reserved for ever. 14 And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convict all that are ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. 16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great things, showing off persons for gain. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Ihsou Christ, 18 how they said to you, that in the last times there should be mockers, walking after their own lusts in ungodliness. 19 These are they that are self-seeking, sensual, not having the Spirit. 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Ihsou Christ unto eternal life. 22 And those who have mercy on me, being discerning, 23 and whom you save with fear, snatching them out of the fire, hating even the garment stained by the flesh. 24 And to him who is able to keep you from being deceived, and stand before his glory blameless with great joy, 25 to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and authority, now and forever. Amen.
